GreenGraves Environmentally Friendly Pre-Need Plans
GreenGraves has developed Ashes2Ashes™ and Dust2Dust™ to provide you with affordable green burial alternatives. Our pre-need plans distribute the cost of your burial among Green Burial Council (GBC) certified funeral directors, GBC certified nature preserve cemeteries and environmentally friendly organizations that work to improve the health of the planet.
First, a portion of the average cost of today's modern burial is donated to a non-profit environmental organization that promotes environmentally friendly practices such as land restoration or habitat preservation. You will be able to choose from a variety of organizations and you will receive a tax deduction. Second, a portion is held in trust and administered by Anchor Wealth Management who serves as Trustee Administrator of the plans. The Trustee Administrator will distribute funds to the GBC approved providers at time of need for services and a biodegradable casket or urn. Third, a portion is paid to the GBC approved nature preserve cemetery for your burial plot. Funds held in trust will pay for the opening and closing of the grave, a stone marker and perpetual, natural care. Finally, a portion is paid to GreenGraves for administering the entire program. In effect, this locks in the cost of future need at today's prices!
